ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY

The Application must fulfill the following condition to be eligible for admission to M.S.W.-Part -1 

1. A graduate form any faculty. (B.A., B.Com, B.SC. B.S.W.)

2. Minimum 45% Mark at degree level

3. At least 50% of the seats will be reserved for  B.S,.W. Students & 20% for B.A. (Social Work)

4. If the required number of candidates from B.S.W.do not available the 50% quota 

Reserved for them, the same will be offered to the open category.  The percentage of Seats mentioned above shall be inclusive of normal reservation for SC/ST/NT/OBC and other categories 

SELECTION PROCEDURE

Selected Candidates will be called for an interview after scrutiny of the application forms candidates Selected will be their aptitude and knowledge of the subject at the degree level 

A List of selected Candidates will be displayed on the college Notice board if need be.

Selected candidates are required to pay the college fees at the time of admission failing which their admission will becancelled

SPECIALIZATION

1. Community Development 

2. Human Resource Management

Out of the total admission to M.S.W. Part-II equal seats will be allotted to each Specialization in order to merit at M.S.W. Part-I

OBJECTIVES

The Specific objective of the course is to equip young man and woman who wish to make social service their career with adequate theoretical and legal knowledge coupled with field work .

The holders of master of Social work are Preferred in the recruitment of labor Welfare Office Personnel in Community Development project personnel in Correctional institution Such as orphanages Rescue Homes .School ,For the Physically and mentally Handicapped, jail and Hospital. Projects, Govt. Funded NGO’S & Govt. offices etc.
